Come home to stillness. Teach from depth. Embody the path of surrender.
The Yin Way is a transformative journey into the essence of Yin Yoga—its anatomical intelligence, energetic sensitivity, and profound philosophical roots. This training is designed for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners who are ready to explore the quieter, subtler dimensions of yoga and discover the healing art of holding space.
EARLY BIRD
until August 22nd 2026
Through stillness and presence, this course will guide you in the art of doing less to feel more. You’ll gain a deep understanding of the connective tissues that shape the body, learn how to support their healthy function, and create meaningful Yin sequences that nourish the nervous system and the soul.
At the heart of the training is the Tao Te Ching—a poetic, powerful text that reveals the way of nature, the wisdom of balance, and the quiet strength of surrender.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
1. Yin Anatomy & Physiology
Understand the fascia, joints, and connective tissues that define the Yin body. Learn how Yin yoga uniquely and safely stresses these tissues to maintain fluidity, mobility, and resilience—especially as we age or slow down.
2. Energetics & Taoist Philosophy
Explore the energetic landscape of Yin through meridians, chi flow, and elemental theory. Discover how Taoist wisdom teaches us to align with nature, embrace stillness, and meet life with effortless grace.
3. The Craft of Teaching Yin
Create and teach thoughtful Yin and restorative classes with precision, confidence, and presence. Develop language that expresses the subtle body experience, structure sequences that support deep release, and learn to hold space with clarity and care.

ABOUT NICO
An avid story teller, philosopher, traveller and mover, Nico has spent much of his life in pursuit of the extra ordinary; from intrepid travels through India, acting stints and a successful yoga studio ownership, he has spent much of his life seeking a way to embrace this life with each breath, one breath at a time. Living life to its fullest potential is to live with vibrancy, adventure and zest.
Nico is a 500 hour certified yogi and international trainer who has been teaching yoga since 2003, and is himself committed to never ending the journey of learning. His love for Eastern philosophy, spirituality and anatomy are all weaved skilfully into his teaching; his style is eclectic, drawing on his study with some of the top teachers in Hatha, Anusara, Vinyasa, Yin and Power Yoga and Pilates. Yet grounded in reality, yoga, in his view is not separate from life but rather constitutive of it, and draws from everyday experiences to realize the practice’s potential.
By bringing to life the ancient teachings of yoga, Nico's goal is to take you on a powerful transformational journey which will have you seeking the answers to your questions and challenging the way you view your life, inviting you to look inside, to never stop asking the questions and to be brave, to remain open, and to take a chance on yourself.
You can find Nico studying at his home in Switzerland, teaching & gardening at Occitania Retreats in the South of France, or travelling to the corners of the globe sharing his teachings in a humble and honest way. Practice with Nico on Gaia or check out his traveling schedule here.
